Edward B. Rudner is CEO and President of Online Vacation Center Holdings Corp., an aggregator of diversifed vacation sellers with a range of products that can be cross-sold to an extensive customer base.
Mr. Rudner has more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry. Previously, he served as the CFO and COO of Alamo-Rent-A-Car. Under his guidance, Alamo-Rent-A-Car increased its fleet size from 400 to 50,000 automobiles, and expanded from a Florida-based company into a national car rental agency. Following his tenure at Alamo, Mr. Rudner went on to become president and CEO of Certified Vacations, where he cultivated the business from 10,000 to 250,000 vacation packages per year. More recently, he served as the CEO of Renaissance Cruises where he expanded ship assets from $60 million to over $1 billion and increased revenues from $20 million to $500 million over a nine-year period until June of 2000.
In October of 2000, Mr. Rudner founded Online Vacation Center Inc., which today is one of the largest cruise sellers in the United States.
Mr. Rudner graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Massachusetts and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mary Lou Ruderman Chief Financial Officer
Mary Lou Ruderman joined Online Vacation Center, Inc. in September 2002 and has served as Chief Financial Officer since May 2003. From 1993 to 1997 and from 1999 to 2001, Ms. Ruderman held various accounting and operations positions at Renaissance Cruises, Inc. From 1997 to 1999, Ms. Ruderman was a Senior Internal Auditor with Spherion Corporation. Ms. Ruderman holds a BBA degree in finance from the University of Miami, a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and accounting from Florida Atlantic University, and a master's degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Ruderman is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Florida.
Brenda Josowitz Vice President of Sales
Brenda Josowitz has been with Online Vacation Center for over five years and, as Vice President of Sales, she is currently involved in the Company's marketing, information technology, sales, and product development activities. She joined ONVC in June of 2001 as the Director of Accounting and Controller. From 1999 to 2001 Ms. Josowitz served as Director of Reservations Planning & Operations at Renaissance Cruises, Inc. with a focus on productivity and performance. Prior to that, she provided technical and financial consulting services to an international client base as an Implementation Specialist at PGT Consulting Inc. During her three years in Moscow, Russia with Cogent Management Consulting, Inc. (now IDEAS International) Ms. Josowitz established the company's first service and support office in the country. She spent an additional three years with IBM Corporation as a Direct Registration Agent. Ms. Josowitz received her BS in Accounting from the University of Tampa in 1991.
R. Kurt Homfelt President of Dunhill Vacations
R. Kurt Homfelt, President of Dunhill Vacations, Inc. joined Online Vacation Center Holdings Corp. from Miami, Florida based Club Med, most recently serving as its Director of National Sales. During his seven year tenure with the company, Mr. Homfelt was responsible for the creation and implementation of multiple nationwide sales and marketing initiatives as well as the development of their E-commerce platform. Mr. Homfelt also served as the Director of Travel and Entertainment Sales for First Data Corporation after spending 13 years at Certified Vacations, during which time he occupied a number of senior sales positions. Mr. Homfelt has a BS in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University.
